On December 15, 2025, plans were confirmed for Pit Stop Convenience to begin serving the Trinity Falls neighborhood in McKinney, with an anticipated opening around late December or early January. The single location at 5895 Trinity Falls Parkway, Ste. 1 was identified as the site where owner Rahul Kolluri will operate a neighborhood convenience store geared to daily needs.
The new shop’s product mix is designed for quick stops and routine purchases. Customers can expect coffee, snacks, packaged food delivered daily from the proprietor’s Haltom City restaurant Texas Momo Taqueria, farm fresh eggs, and age restricted products such as beer, cigarettes and vapes. The daily deliveries from an existing local restaurant create a direct link between a food service business and neighborhood retail, which can help keep inventory fresh and reduce supply chain lag for prepared items.
For local residents this store will add options for morning coffee, last minute groceries and grab and go meals without a drive to larger shopping centers. That convenience matters in fast growing suburbs where short errand time and proximity to retail can significantly affect household routines. The arrangement also represents a modest boost to local economic activity, keeping some spending within the community and supporting a small business operator with ties to a North Texas restaurant.

Opening a store that sells alcohol and tobacco will require appropriate state and local permits and compliance with age verification rules. Those approvals are a routine step for convenience retailers and will shape the store timeline if any inspections or licensing steps extend beyond the current schedule.
Pit Stop Convenience’s linkage to Texas Momo Taqueria in Haltom City is notable for local food sourcing and may differentiate the store from typical chain convenience outlets. For Trinity Falls residents, the store promises greater access to everyday items and a nearby source for packaged prepared food when it opens in the coming weeks.
