Collin County businesses now have a direct path into PGA championship spending, and the window is open only until May 27, 2026. The PGA of America is inviting local vendors to register for PGA VendorMatch, a sourcing program tied to the 2027 championships in Frisco, with the biggest draw centered on Fields Ranch East and the 2027 PGA Championship.

For small companies, the opportunity is broader than golf itself. VendorMatch covers food and beverage, transportation, staffing, florals and other services needed before, during and after tournament week. The PGA says qualifying vendors are then contacted for meetings with the organization or its larger prime suppliers, turning the program into a procurement pipeline rather than a general business expo.

The timing matters for Frisco and the rest of Collin County. The 2027 PGA Championship is scheduled for May 17-23, 2027, and Visit Frisco says it will be the first men’s major championship in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in more than six decades. PGA Frisco materials also describe it as the first all-professional major championship field in men’s golf at the property, which helps explain why the event is already drawing commercial attention well before the first tee shot.

That demand is showing up off the course too. The PGA has said limited corporate hospitality inventory remained for the 2027 championship after strong early interest, a sign that tournament-week spending will extend well beyond tickets and television coverage. For local firms, that is the practical takeaway: the championship will need a full service stack, and much of that work can be handled by businesses that know North Texas operations, labor and logistics.

The program also carries a policy angle. PGA VendorMatch is designed to widen access for women-owned, minority-owned, LGBTQ-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned and disability-owned firms, giving historically underrepresented suppliers a shot at contracts tied to one of the sport’s biggest stages. In a fast-growing market like Frisco, that matters because championship hosting is no longer just about prestige; it is also about who gets paid when the event arrives.

The long-term picture is even larger. Club 1916 materials say PGA Frisco already has future championships booked through 2034, including the Senior PGA Championship in 2029 and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2031. For businesses that can clear the registration bar now, the 2027 championship may be the first entry point into a much longer stream of tournament-related work.
