Copperas Cove Phone Lines Down After Vendor System Failure; Temporary Numbers

Several municipal phone lines in Copperas Cove went offline after what the City of Copperas Cove described as a vendor’s legacy telephone system failure, the city announced in a News Flash posted Feb. 12. The city posting also included the header "Until further notice, please utilize the following TEMPORARY numbers:" and a line reading "Pending Temporary Phone Number Activation:" indicating additional departmental numbers may still have been in the process of activation on Feb. 12.
