Coryell Health Clinic in Copperas Cove Offers Primary Care to County Residents
Walk-ins welcome at Coryell Health's clinic at 1007 US-190 BUS in Copperas Cove, where same-day sick visits and chronic care for diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease are available Monday through Friday.

Coryell Health Medical Clinic – Copperas Cove sits at 1007 US-190 BUS, Suite A, where nurse practitioners and primary-care providers treat patients from infancy through old age without directing them toward larger health systems outside the county for routine needs. The clinic runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and welcomes walk-ins for illness and injury care alongside scheduled appointments, all accessible through one central line: (254) 865-2166.
When Coryell Health and the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to mark the clinic's grand opening, Chief Operating Officer Clint Black framed its purpose plainly. "Our goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate care to families in the Copperas Cove area, and we're thrilled to officially open our doors," Black said. "The warm welcome we received at the ribbon cutting reinforces our commitment to serving this community with excellence."
The service menu covers the full range of family medicine: well-child visits, childhood vaccinations, preventive screenings, women's health services, birth control consultations and IUD placements, sports and pre-op physicals, Department of Transportation physicals, Medicare annual wellness visits, and management of chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Same-day sick visits are available, which means a Copperas Cove resident with a respiratory illness or minor injury can get care without waiting several days for the next open slot or driving past the county line to find a provider.
The Copperas Cove clinic is part of Coryell Health, a community-owned organization headquartered in Gatesville that operates a 25-bed licensed hospital, a Level IV Trauma Center emergency room, an advanced wound care center, an outpatient rehabilitation center, and a skilled nursing facility on its central campus. When primary care in Copperas Cove reaches the edge of what it can handle, clinic staff can refer patients directly into that Gatesville-based system for diagnostics, specialty care, or escalated treatment rather than routing them to an out-of-network facility.

Coryell Health's Gatesville campus also runs a Quick Care Walk-In Clinic inside Building 2 at 227 Memorial Drive with extended Saturday hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for patients who cannot be seen during the standard weekday window.
To schedule an appointment at the Copperas Cove clinic or find a provider, call (254) 865-2166. For emergencies, use emergency services or the nearest hospital emergency department.
