When San'aa Doss took the podium at Lakeside Middle School's National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony, she did so as the chapter's president. Thirty-three students from Millville's seventh and eighth grades were inducted on March 14, recognized for demonstrating excellence across the society's five core standards: scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.

Among the eighth-grade inductees were Emily Abdill, Bryanna Craig, Steven Dondero, Blake Gifford, Gianna Gomzalez, Alyssa Kinkade, Laila Lopez, Kevin Sheppard and Jayden Wade.

The seventh-grade cohort brought 24 new members into the chapter: Abbygale Bender, Sebastian Blough, Chelsea Dobrosky, Alyssia Gomez, Macie Jacquet, Aliza Langlois, Andrew Laird, Lily Mahabir, Shaun McCarthy, Jackson Millard, Genevieve Morgan, Kaden Mulharen, Tadden Rempel, Natalie Repp, Reese Sheppard, Stella Sheppard, C.J. Staniec, Oliver Tostevin, Julia Thompson, Noah Uzzolina, Jordan Webster, Taylor Whitaker, Hayden Wickward and Grace Wright.

The ceremony also recognized the chapter's existing membership alongside the incoming class. That roster includes Gabrielle Akiatan, Kyra Backman, Cassidy Blough, Haley Brag, Heaven Capece, Isabella Carr, Katherine Clark, Andrew Crain, Eladia Crowell, San'aa Doss, Patrick Earnest, Leah Ellis, Ella Gamber, Julianna Giordano, Olivia Giordano, Mary Greco, Natalie Harrison, Emma Hickman, Karli Jones, Aidan Kavanagh, Anthony Kukal, Dylan Latham, Megan Majewski, Sydney Middleton, Adityasinh Rathod, Sydney Repp, Nathan Robbins, Hailey Schwegel, Henry Sheppard, Emma Sockwell, Jayme Sooy, Ashton Steffler, Emily Taylor, Mackenzie Thompson, Joshua Whitaker, Milton White, Ewan Wickward, Madison Woodman and Andrew Zerra.

The National Junior Honor Society requires each student to meet all five criteria before receiving an invitation, making admission selective rather than ceremonial. For the students named at Lakeside's March ceremony, the induction marks formal recognition from Millville Public Schools that their academic and civic conduct cleared that bar.
