Castle Pines Parks Board Elects Leaders, Honors Outgoing Members in March Meeting
Castle Pines Parks Board held leadership elections and honored departing members at its March 19 hybrid meeting, also taking up new trail signage.

The City of Castle Pines Parks and Recreation Advisory Board elected new leadership and recognized outgoing members during its March 19 session at the Castle Pines Library Event Hall, 360 Village Square Lane, with the city posting a meeting wrap-up the following day.
The five-member board, which meets the third Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m., conducted leadership elections as its first major order of business. No names of the newly elected officers were included in the city's published wrap-up, and the city similarly did not identify the outgoing members honored at the session.
The board also discussed new trail signage, though the wrap-up provided no details on which trails are under consideration, what the signage proposals entail, or what next steps the board may recommend to City Council.

The advisory board carries formal responsibility for making recommendations to the City Council on parks and recreation matters, including legislative policies, the city's Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan, and policies governing the acquisition, development, and improvement of recreation facilities. Its five members are appointed by the City Council from residents across various backgrounds.
Meetings are held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person attendance at the Castle Pines Library Event Hall and virtual participation. The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for the third Thursday of April at 4:30 p.m. at the same location. Residents seeking additional information can reach the City of Castle Pines at 303.705.0200 or visit the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board's webpage on the city's official website.
