Douglas County teen Taylor Fulte found safe after missing alert issued
Taylor Fulte, 17, was reported missing from Highlands Ranch in a light blue Jeep Grand Cherokee before deputies said she was found safe.

A missing alert for Taylor Fulte, 17, ended with relief in Douglas County after the Highlands Ranch teen was found safe. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office had asked the public to watch for Fulte, who was last seen April 29, 2026, and may have been driving a light blue Jeep Grand Cherokee with Colorado plate EESU05.
Deputies treated the case as a missing and endangered juvenile and urged anyone with information to come forward quickly. The sheriff’s office said missing children under 18 should be reported immediately by calling 9-1-1, and its missing-person guidance says the first 48 hours after a disappearance are the most critical. Investigators also asked the public to share any recent photos or details that could help track Fulte’s movements through Highlands Ranch and the surrounding Douglas County area.
The sheriff’s office directed tips to the Missing Persons Unit at 303-660-7548 and to dispatch at 303-660-7500. That same network of local, county and state response has become the standard path for fast action when a juvenile vanishes, especially when a vehicle description is available and the clock is already ticking.

By Thursday morning, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the 17-year-old had been located and was safe, and it thanked the community for helping bring the case to a close.
