Life Time to Open 102,000-Square-Foot Club in Castle Pines

Life Time is developing a major new athletic club in Castle Pines that the company says will open later in 2026 at 7373 Canyon Forge Drive. Groundbreaking for the project occurred a few months earlier, and the company describes the site as a 102,000-plus-square-foot resort-style facility serving residents east of I-25 near Castle Pines Parkway and Canyonside Boulevard.

The club will include a broad slate of amenities aimed at both fitness and leisure. Planned facilities feature indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, basketball courts, a full-service spa, and a hydrotherapy suite. Programming will encompass group classes such as yoga, Pilates, indoor cycling, high-intensity interval training and weight training, along with other extensive fitness offerings that position the site as a regional destination for wellness.

Food and beverage options are built into the design. Inside, LifeCafe at Castle Pines will serve as a grab-and-go option for members seeking smoothies, specialty coffee and quick healthy meals before or after workouts. An outdoor poolside bistro will offer a casual sit-down experience for light meals and refreshments.

The club is expected to create roughly 300 jobs when it opens, including roles for trainers, coaches and group fitness instructors. That employment gain will come on top of construction activity and could broaden the local tax base and consumer spending in nearby businesses. As the largest commercial development in The Canyons area east of I-25, the project is likely to increase foot traffic and visitation to the surrounding retail and restaurant corridor.

For Douglas County residents, the facility offers expanded recreation choices and a new social hub for health-focused activity, from competitive pickleball play to spa and hydrotherapy services. The scale of the project also raises practical considerations for the community, including parking, traffic management at nearby intersections and coordination with existing commercial centers along Castle Pines Parkway.

With an anticipated opening by the end of 2026, the Life Time club will be a multiuse addition to Castle Pines that reflects a broader consumer shift toward integrated wellness experiences. Local officials and businesses will watch how the development translates into jobs, sales and community amenities as construction moves toward completion later this year.
