Nashville Firm Acquires Castle Rock Health Tech Company MedicalServiceQuotes.com
A Nashville private equity firm acquired Castle Rock's MedicalServiceQuotes.com, backing the health tech platform's expansion while keeping its headquarters and local operations in place.

Castle Rock's MedicalServiceQuotes.com was acquired by Council Capital, a Nashville-based private equity firm specializing in healthcare services, in a deal announced April 9 that keeps the Douglas County company's headquarters and existing leadership in place.
Known as MSQ, the platform serves insurers and employers managing workers' compensation and auto no-fault claims, centralizing the procurement and vendor management for ancillary medical services and pharmacy benefits. Clients use the system to maintain preferred vendor panels, capture competitive pricing through network discounts and real-time bidding, and generate granular vendor analytics to support cost and contracting decisions.
Council Capital Managing Partner Grant Jackson announced the deal alongside investment firm PMPK, led by Chris Feeney and Ken Hannigan, Ph.D., which provided financial and advisory backing in the transaction. Jackson described the acquisition as part of Council Capital's strategy to scale healthcare-tech companies that deliver cost containment and transparency to insurance and employer clients, with MSQ positioned for expanded product reach under the new ownership structure.
The deal represents a meaningful benchmark for Douglas County's business environment. Castle Rock-based companies earning national private equity attention signal a maturing local ecosystem for B2B health tech, an industry segment that increasingly ties commercial growth to data infrastructure and analytics. MSQ's continued local operations, confirmed in the acquisition announcement, mean the company's workforce and day-to-day functions are expected to remain rooted in Castle Rock as it enters its next growth phase.
Council Capital's stated focus on product expansion could bring new features, broader vendor networks, and revised integration timelines for the insurance and employer clients who rely on MSQ's platform in the months ahead.
