Trumark Homes Opens Six Model Homes at Tanterra in Parker
Trumark Homes opened six model homes at Tanterra, a 1,200-acre master-planned community in Parker, marking the builder's first sales launch in Douglas County's newest major development.
Six model homes are now open at Tanterra, Trumark Homes' long-anticipated master-planned community in Parker, where the builder is delivering 330 single-family and duplex homes across three distinct neighborhoods.
Trumark Homes, the award-winning Western U.S. homebuilder, closed on its phase one lot purchase at Tanterra back in August 2024, and the grand opening on March 24 marked the community's formal sales launch. The three neighborhoods, anchored by Kestrel, feature modern architecture and thoughtfully designed floor plans, including single-family homes with one ranch-style and three two-story options. Starling offers duplex homes with four new floor plans, including a ranch-style option, while Osprey rounds out the community with four modern floor plans spanning ranch-style and two-story designs.
Tanterra sits in Douglas County just 20 miles southeast of Denver, minutes from historic downtown Parker, filled with shops, local restaurants, and activities, and in close proximity to the Reuter-Hess Reservoir recreation area. The master-planned community is planned around magnificent sweeping views and will eventually spread 3,300 homes across 1,200 acres of rolling terrain.
Trumark's 330-lot first phase will comprise 226 single-family detached homes and 104 duplex homes. The single-family homes range from 2,092 to 3,084 square feet with three to five bedrooms, while duplex homes run from 1,789 to 2,262 square feet with three bedrooms. All homes include a two- or three-car garage and an unfinished basement, with walkout and open space homesites available.
Trailhead Park, the community's centrally located neighborhood park spanning 30 acres, highlights the existing topography through multi-level play areas, a single-track bike trail, multi-purpose turf areas, shade structures, trails, and a pool. Homebuyers will also benefit from easy access to Denver International Airport and employment centers including the Denver Tech Center, Inverness, and Meridian.

Tanterra falls within the Douglas County School District, with students attending Legacy Point Elementary, Sagewood Middle School, and Ponderosa High School.
The Tanterra grand opening follows a burst of expansion activity for Trumark. Just four days before the Parker celebration, the company announced it was entering the Pacific Northwest market through the acquisition of JK Monarch. Colorado has been a focal point of the builder's growth since 2021, and as recently as December 2025, the company acquired 37 additional lots at Sterling Ranch in Littleton.
