Chamber to celebrate grand opening of Vanity Private Suites in Ferdinand
Ferdinand is getting four fully occupied private beauty suites, and the chamber’s ribbon cutting will put owner Hailey Bartlett’s growing wellness business in the spotlight.

A downtown Ferdinand space is being turned into four private studios for beauty and wellness professionals, and the Dubois County Chamber of Commerce is marking the opening with a public ribbon cutting that puts entrepreneurship front and center.
The celebration for The Vanity Private Suites is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, at 6 p.m. at 301 E. First Street, Suite C, in Ferdinand. The event gives residents a chance to see the new business up close while introducing a local service that blends self-care, aesthetics and small-business investment in the heart of town.
The Vanity says it is a collective of independent beauty, wellness and aesthetic professionals, led by owner and founder Hailey Bartlett. Bartlett is identified by the business as a licensed esthetician and certified acne expert. The company says it was created to bring the luxury of a high-end spa to Southern Indiana while keeping a small-town feel, a message that fits Ferdinand’s scale and the kind of locally rooted service many Dubois County residents look for close to home.
The private-suite model is designed around independent operators rather than a single salon floor. The Vanity says its collective includes corrective skincare, acne treatments, massage therapy, waxing, lash extensions, permanent brow art, makeup artistry, permanent jewelry and body treatments. Its lease page says the addition includes four fully enclosed private studios, all-inclusive utilities, WiFi, laundry, shared common areas, marketing support, 24/7 secure access and a client refreshment bar.

That setup points to more than a standard storefront. It is a small professional campus for beauty and wellness providers, which can lower overhead for local entrepreneurs while giving clients a more polished and private setting. The fact that all suites are currently occupied, with one room expected to become available in August 2026, suggests steady demand for these services in and around Ferdinand.
The opening also builds on an existing local presence. A 2023 report from 18 WJTS described The Vanity as an aesthetic spa in Ferdinand offering skin treatments, lash extensions, waxing and more at 301 East 1st Street, Suite D. The move to Suite C and the chamber celebration show a business that has expanded its footprint and is now being introduced as a larger part of Ferdinand’s commercial landscape.
