Jasper Middle School Band opens registration, parent meeting set for April 13

Jasper Middle School Band is giving Dubois County families a clear starting point for the next school year’s music plans: a parent meeting Monday, April 13, at 7 p.m. in the JMS Cafeteria, with entry through the north side athletic doors, Door 14.

The meeting is more than a general introduction. Parents will learn about the program and schedule instrument-selection appointments before leaving, giving families a concrete next step instead of a loose sign-up process. Those appointments will be held Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, in the Jasper Middle School Band Room.

That timing matters for busy households. Band at Jasper Middle School happens during the regular school day, which means students can take part without adding another after-school commitment to calendars already filled with sports, jobs and other activities.
