New Wine Lounge The Social Pour Opens at Jasper's River Centre

Christy and Deen Rogers opened The Social Pour at 225 River Centre Drive in mid-March, bringing a wine-focused lounge to Suite F of Jasper's River Centre with an identity built around community rather than crowd noise.

The concept is deliberate in what it is not. "It's not a sports bar. It's not a nightclub. It's a place to slow down, try something new, and maybe make a friend," according to the Dubois County Free Press description of the lounge's philosophy.

That positioning reflects the Rogers family's own temperament. The Dubois County Free Press described the couple as "natural hosts — the kind of couple who cook Thanksgiving dinner together with their three grown kids piled into the kitchen — and that hospitality runs through everything they're building here." The lounge's emphasis on events programming and local partnerships extends that same domestic warmth into a commercial space along the riverfront.

The Social Pour runs a Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule calibrated for after-work and weekend traffic. Wednesdays and Thursdays the doors open at 4:00 p.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays extend to 11:00 p.m. Sunday hours run noon to 6:00 p.m., giving the River Centre corridor a social anchor on what is typically a quieter day for downtown Jasper businesses.
