Chesstronics Opens New Cumming Location Feb 21-22 With Open House Tournament
Chesstronics will open a new Cumming location at 216 Atlanta Rd STE E with a Feb 21 blitz (1-4 pm) and a Feb 22 scholastic tournament (9:30 am-2:30 pm) with free pizza.

Chesstronics will celebrate a grand opening weekend Feb 21-22 at its new Cumming address, 216 Atlanta Rd STE E, with an open house blitz and a USCF-rated scholastic tournament, organizers say; the company’s services page calls the site its "NEW 4th LOCATION AT CUMMING-ATL,GA." The weekend package promises competitive chess, Robotics, food, prizes and "a special ribbon cutting ceremony," according to the event listing from the Georgia Chess Association.
Saturday’s schedule centers on a timed blitz session billed as the "OPEN HOUSE BLITZ SPECIAL" at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Feb 21. Chesstronics’ event copy specifies "This is going to be 4 to 5 rounds of G5;d5 USCF Rated." The registration interface on Chesstronics’ services page shows section choices listed as "UNRATED," "U-600," "U-1200" and "OPEN" and notes "Any USCF ID holders/members , can play in USCF Rated section. If no USCF ID they can play in UNRATED Blitz." The site also displays e-commerce language such as "Adding product to your cart" and "PRE-REGISTERED PLAYERS," and requires agreement to a cancellation, photo-media, food allergy and liability waiver before paying.
Sunday’s feature is the "Cumming Pizza Scholastic Tournament (USCF Rated)" on Feb 22 with play scheduled from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The Georgia Chess Association listing breaks Sunday into scholastic sections "U400, U800, U1200, and 1200+" and advertises "FREE Pizza for All Players!" The event listing names Rajib Mukherjee as organizer and tournament director "RAJIB MUKHERJEE (TD Certified)" and provides a contact phone: 762-380-5546.

Promotions and pricing language appears on both pages but contains inconsistencies. The Georgia Chess Association page includes a "PROMO SPECIAL $75.00/MONTH/SUBJECT." Chesstronics’ registration copy also contains two conflicting statements about class-enrollment fees: "If you Enrolled for our CHESS CLASS during Open house or Blitz game, the $15.00 or $10.00 you paid will be deducted and it is Free!" and elsewhere "If you registered for our CHESS CLASS Enrollment, the $15.00 you paid will be refunded and it is free!" Organizers have not posted a clear reconciliation of those lines on the event pages.
The event pages do not list a standard tournament entry fee or a scheduled time for the ribbon cutting or Robotics demos; Chesstronics’ registration text reminds registrants "By Paying Registration Fee , you read and agreed on our CANCELLATION POLICY & PHOTO MEDIA, FOOD ALLERGY, LIABILITY WAIVER." Players and parents who want more details can reach Rajib Mukherjee at 762-380-5546 or check Chesstronics’ event registration page and the Georgia Chess Association event listing for updates ahead of Feb 21-22.
