Boots in the Park is leaning hard into the idea that Fresno wants a country-music outing, not just a concert. The festival’s Sept. 19 return to Woodward Park will feature Zach Top, Max McNown, Jo Dee Messina, Tyler Braden, Wyatt McCubbin and Luwiss Luxx, with general admission starting at $79 all-in and VIP admission starting at $184.

The timing gives would-be buyers a narrow window to act. Presale tickets open Friday at 8 a.m. PT, and public on-sale follows at noon. The event is being sold in two tiers, and the VIP package is built around convenience and sightlines: express entry, a spacious VIP viewing area, partial upfront stage access, a commemorative lanyard, VIP-only food vendors, a VIP-only bar and private flushable restrooms.

The extras are a big part of the pitch. The Whiskey Barrel Saloon is billed as an exclusive tasting experience with 101 different whiskey brands, while the Country Club Dance Hall is a line-dancing tent meant for both beginners and experienced dancers. That combination turns the festival into a daylong destination with its own food, drink and activity calendar, not just a stage set in north Fresno.

Boots in the Park has spent years refining that formula locally. The event first launched in Fresno in 2016 at the Rotary Amphitheater before moving to Woodward Park in 2025, and organizers have repeatedly used Fresno to test bigger formats and broader lineups. A spring edition earlier this year ran from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., showing how the brand stretches the schedule into a full-day draw.

That matters for Fresno’s fall entertainment calendar and for businesses around Woodward Park. A lineup that pairs breakout acts such as Zach Top and Max McNown with a familiar name like Jo Dee Messina gives the festival a wide appeal, while the ticket tiers and on-site experiences create more reasons for people to spend before and after the show. For north Fresno, the result is another major event likely to drive parking, rideshare use and weekend traffic around one of the city’s busiest venues.
