Fresno County launched a new 24/7 Mobile Mental Health and Substance Use Crisis Response Team that county materials say is now live and reachable at 559-600-6000. "The Mobile Mental Health and Substance Use Crisis Response Team is now LIVE. Dial (559) 600-6000 to speak to a trained professional," the county announcement states, and materials add that "Mobile Crisis, is its own service, available 24/7, 365 days a year, focused on support for non-violent mental health and substance use crises, not just intervention."

For life-threatening situations, callers must still use 911. County guidance and hospital intake materials both instruct people to call 911 and "Ask for a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Officer" when there is immediate danger; a Stanford resource sheet notes in some pathways "Mobile Response: must call 911, police department goes our first, then PD dispatches mobile team if needed. State that it is a mental health emergency at time of call." Fresno County also directs anyone feeling suicidal or in crisis to "dial 988."

Beyond the mobile team and 988, Fresno County lists multiple round-the-clock crisis phone lines. The Fresno County Behavioral Health ACCESS Line operates 24/7 at 1-800-654-3937 for information, screening, referral, linkage and eligibility. The Central Valley Suicide Prevention Hotline is 1-888-506-5991, Crisis Text Line users can text "Home" to 741-741, and CalHOPE Warm Line is 1-833-317-HOPE (4673). For veteran or Spanish-language routing on the national lifeline, materials note callers to 988 may "Press 1 for Veterans, 2 for Spanish."

Crisis stabilization is available at Exodus Recovery's Crisis Stabilization Unit at 4411 East Kings Canyon Road in Fresno, which the Stanford resource sheet lists as open 24/7. Exodus provides separate phone lines for youth and adults, youth 559-512-8700 and adult 559-453-1008, and the document states the unit is "Open 24/7 for evaluation in person (Crisis Clinic) and emergency medication refill and short term treatment until patient in linked to community services (inpatient or outpatient) up to a 24 hour stay."
