Fresno State Vintage Days draws crowds with food, concerts and anime gaming

Fresno State’s 52nd annual Vintage Days turned campus into one of the biggest weekend gathering spots in Fresno, mixing food booths, craft fairs, live concerts and family activities with a new draw for 2026: anime gaming.

The festival ran Friday through Sunday and stood out for being free, including campus parking, a detail that helped make it one of the university’s most accessible traditions. That low barrier to entry mattered on a weekend when organizers expected tens of thousands of visitors and more than 50,000 people over the three-day run, a level of turnout that put steady traffic in front of vendors, student groups and campus attractions.
