Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant and Mad Duck Craft Brewing Co. opened locations inside the new terminal expansion concourse at Fresno Yosemite International Airport following a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 23, 2026, attended by airport leadership and Mayor Jerry Dyer. The openings place two locally rooted concepts into the post-security shops and dining area as the airport advances its concessions program.

Los Amigos will occupy a 2,000 square foot mariachi and vibrant folklórico themed space in the concourse, offering a traditional seated dining menu, a full-service bar with specialty beverages, a panadería serving fresh-baked pastries, grab-and-go items and coffee service. Owner Ricardo Flores Gaona said, "It is with great honor that Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant brings the authentic taste of Mexico to FAT. We are thrilled to share our vibrant flavors and culinary traditions with travelers from around the world, providing them with a memorable dining experience during their journey." Flyfresno described the Los Amigos opening as coinciding with FAT's historic expansion scheduled to open "this fall."

Mad Duck Craft Brewing Co. joined Los Amigos as a local brewing and restaurant concept operating in the airport concourse. SSP America, the contracted operator for post-security food and beverage at FAT, listed Mad Duck among the brands it will run alongside Peet's Coffee and Ike's Love & Sandwiches. SSP's materials say Peet's Coffee and Ike's Love & Sandwiches were expected to operate in transformed locations in summer 2024, while Mad Duck was expected to operate in its remodeled location in fall 2025. The SSP America press release lead noted, "Passengers traveling through Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) will begin to see a transition in food and beverage offerings this month as part of the Airport’s new concessions program."

Airport leadership present at the ribbon-cutting included Interim Director of Aviation Francisco Partida as well as Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, while Flyfresno attributed a separate comment to Director of Aviation Henry Thompson praising the Los Amigos addition. Thompson said, "Fresno Yosemite International Airport is pleased that Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant will be serving their authentic menu items in an upbeat atmosphere that the community has come to enjoy for decades, and we look forward to sharing this Fresno favorite with travelers flying through our airport. A local Mexican dining concept has been a common traveler request and being able to bring the Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant experience to FAT is timely with initiatives to offer new amenities inspired by our travelers."

Los Amigos has operated in Fresno for more than 30 years with a storefront near Shaw and Blackstone Avenues and a downtown concept, and The Business Journal noted Mad Duck "will soon be joined by Los Amigos" as part of the airport rollout. SSP America emphasized a "Taste of Place" approach in its FAT program and pointed to broader sustainability recognition in its operations elsewhere as context for the concession strategy. As FAT continues its terminal expansion and concessions transition, airport officials and SSP say the new openings aim to bring recognizable local dining options to travelers.
