Sanger Police Seek Public Help Finding Missing 15-Year-Old Veronicka Garcia

Veronicka Garcia, 15, has been missing from her Sanger home since the evening of Feb. 4, and the Sanger Police Department renewed its public plea for tips on March 27 as the case stretched past seven weeks with no confirmed sighting.

Garcia was last seen leaving her residence and may have been walking toward Sanger Park the night she disappeared. Detectives Arguello and Thao, who are assigned to the investigation, are asking anyone who has seen a girl matching her description in the weeks since February to call the Sanger Police Department tip line at (559) 875-8521.

Garcia stands about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She has blue eyes and shoulder-length curly hair dyed burgundy-red. When she left home on Feb. 4, she was believed to be wearing a light tan puffy jacket and light blue or gray jeans.

With Sanger Park identified as a possible destination the night she disappeared, investigators have been working to trace her movements through that part of the city. The March 27 appeal asked community members to check garages, yards, and any locations where a teenager might shelter or be staying, and to comb through social-media contacts and feeds for any sign of Garcia since early February.

The appeal also identified Detectives Arguello and Thao by name, a deliberate choice by Sanger PD to lower the barrier for anyone reluctant to leave a tip with an anonymous desk. Investigators are not disclosing specific leads publicly, which is standard practice in active missing-person cases, but the renewed outreach signals the department is seeking any new information that could redirect the search.
