Rock band Daughtry is set to perform at the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage on July 9, bringing multi-platinum credentials to what will be one of the most significant nights in the National Cherry Festival's century-long history. The show marks a centerpiece booking for the 100th National Cherry Festival, which honors Northern Michigan's cherry industry and community traditions along the shores of West Grand Traverse Bay.

"We're thrilled to welcome Daughtry to the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage during our 100th Festival," said Kat Paye, executive director of the National Cherry Festival. "Rock has always had a strong following in Northern Michigan and we can't think of a better way to celebrate 100 years than with a night of powerhouse vocals and nonstop energy."

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, March 13, at cherryfestival.org. General admission is $58, with premium reserved seating ranging from $62 to $90 depending on location. A VIP experience on the GT Band EDC VIP Deck is available for $183.

Daughtry's self-titled debut holds the record as the fastest-selling rock debut in SoundScan history, producing four Top 20 hits including "Home" and "It's Not Over." The band has earned multiple Grammy, American Music, and Billboard Music Awards and is recognized as one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century.
