Interlochen Postpones Love Is a Battlefield, Folds It Into April 22 Show
Interlochen's student Popular Music Ensemble won't perform Love Is a Battlefield as a standalone show; the March 19 Corson Auditorium concert was postponed and folded into the April 22 Singer-Songwriter event.

Interlochen Center for the Arts called off its Popular Music Ensemble's "Love Is a Battlefield" concert before the March 19 curtain rose at Corson Auditorium, rolling the student performance into a larger Singer-Songwriter: Underground Uprising show scheduled for April 22.
The ensemble, drawn from students at Interlochen Arts Academy, had been set to take the Corson stage at 7:30 p.m. for a program built around the emotional arc of romance, from the rush of a new relationship to the ache of its end. Tickets ranged from $14 to $17, with adult admission priced at $17 and child-through-college tickets at $14.
Interlochen's official event page announced the change directly: "This performance has been postponed and will be incorporated into the Singer-Songwriter: Underground Uprising performance on April 22." The institution also confirmed that ticket-holders would not need to chase down a refund: "All tickets that were purchased for this event will be fully refunded to the original form of payment."
Interlochen has not stated publicly why the show was pulled. No reason appears on the event page or in local calendar listings, including entries that appeared in Northern Express and Traverse Ticker, both of which updated their March 19 listings to reflect the postponement and the April 22 incorporation.

What exactly the April 22 program will look like, including its start time and whether original ticket-holders can attend rather than accept refunds, has not been announced. The Singer-Songwriter: Underground Uprising event is listed for April 22 at Interlochen, but no time or updated ticketing details for that show have been published in connection with this change.
Interlochen's main switchboard is reachable at 231.276.7200 for ticket-holders with questions about refund processing or the April 22 program.
