Interlochen Woman Charged with Creating, Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material

Nacole Gross, a 46-year-old Interlochen resident, was arrested March 5 and charged with aggravated child sexually abusive activity and aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material following a nearly month-long Michigan State Police investigation.

The Michigan State Police Traverse City Post opened the investigation on February 9, 2026. Preliminary findings indicated that Gross allegedly produced and possessed the unlawful material. State police arrested her without incident on March 5, and she was lodged in Benzie County Jail. No bail amount, arraignment date, or court schedule has been made public.

The charges carry the "aggravated" designation, reflecting the severity of the alleged conduct. No further details about the number of alleged victims, the nature of the material, or how investigators identified Gross have been released.
