State police seek help finding missing Interlochen man Collin Biondo

Michigan State Police are asking the public to help find Collin Biondo, 38, who was last seen in the Interlochen area on Oct. 11, 2025 and has not been in contact since. Investigators say Biondo did not have a vehicle when he disappeared, and they believe he may have connections to Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida.

Biondo is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 156 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The missing-person case has now been entered into NamUs as MP153343, with Interlochen listed as the place he went missing and Oct. 11, 2025 listed as the date of last contact.

The Michigan State Police Traverse City Post is handling the appeal for help and wants to hear from anyone who has seen Biondo, had contact with him after Oct. 11, or knows where he is now. Tipsters can call the Traverse City Post at 231-938-0714.

The case comes as state police continue to remind families and neighbors that adults can voluntarily go missing, and that police may wait 24 to 72 hours before taking a missing-person report, depending on department policy. Even so, state guidance says out-of-character disappearances or situations involving vulnerable people should be reported immediately.

Biondo’s disappearance stands out in the county record. A Michigan LEIN missing-person report dated May 1, 2026 listed 2,657 missing persons statewide and zero in Grand Traverse County, underscoring how unusual a publicly flagged missing-person case remains locally. With Biondo last seen in Interlochen and no vehicle tied to his disappearance, investigators are relying on any contact point, sighting or travel connection that could help narrow where he went.
