Brown Summit Sex Offender, 39, Faces 10 Child Exploitation Charges
A Brown Summit man already on the sex offender registry faces 10 child exploitation counts after two cyber tips led investigators to his door.
Corey Allen Jordan, 39, of Brown Summit, was arrested Thursday on 10 counts tied to child sexual abuse material, capping a months-long investigation that began after two separate cyber tips landed with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office last fall.
Detectives with the sheriff's Major Crimes Investigative Unit opened the probe on Sept. 8, 2025. As the investigation progressed, investigators identified Jordan as the suspect. He now faces four counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and six counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the Guilford County Sheriff's Office.
Jordan was already listed as an active member of the Guilford County Sex Offender Registry at the time of his arrest. He is being held without bond at the Guilford County Detention Center in Greensboro, with his first court appearance scheduled for 2 p.m. today, March 13.
Sheriff Danny H. Rogers reported that the investigation centered on child sexual abuse material, commonly referred to as CSAM. No additional details about the nature of the evidence or the number of potential victims have been released by the sheriff's office.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Detective S. Miller at 336-641-3451 or Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
