Greensboro Police Investigate Aggravated Assault on N. O'Henry Boulevard

One person was hospitalized after an aggravated assault in Greensboro on March 23, with initial reports offering conflicting accounts of the victim's condition.

Greensboro Police Department responded to the scene Friday afternoon and confirmed officers began investigating an aggravated assault. WXII 12 News reported that the victim was located with critical injuries and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Guilford County EMS, however, told WGHP that the person was transported with moderate injuries. The discrepancy has not been publicly resolved, and the receiving hospital has not been identified in official statements.

The two sources also diverged on location. WXII identified the scene as N. O'Henry Boulevard, while WGHP reported a police presence in the 1100 block of Vance Street, near its intersection with Andrew Street, as authorities investigated. Whether both locations were part of a single incident sequence has not been confirmed.
