Andy’s Kitchen relocates under same roof as Andy’s Bar & Grill in Cypress

Andy’s Kitchen has moved under the same roof as Andy’s Bar & Grill off U.S. Highway 290, a shift that keeps a familiar Cypress burger name in place while giving regulars a larger venue with more menu choices and entertainment.

The relocation put Andy’s Kitchen at 27200 Hwy. 290, Ste. 160, the same address where Andy Correa opened Andy’s Bar & Grill on April 12, 2022, in a space that once housed Rio Lindo Mexican Grill. Correa had said the original Andy’s Kitchen location was too small for the full concept he wanted, and the move now lets the burger shop operate alongside a business built for more traffic, more seating and a broader mix of dining and nightlife.

That matters on the 290 corridor, where Cypress restaurants often have to grow by adapting rather than starting over. For longtime customers, the important details are what stay familiar: Andy’s Kitchen remains part of the lineup, and Andy’s Bar & Grill still serves burgers, country fried chicken and steak, chicken wings, fried pickles and Salisbury steak. The business also offers dine-in, take-out and catering, with live music on weekends and other events during the week.

Correa has built that footprint over years in Cy-Fair. Community Impact reported in 2023 that he had been in the Cypress restaurant business for almost five years and had grown up working in family restaurants since age 13. Hello Cypress later traced his ventures back to Andy’s Mobile Kitchen in 2014, followed by Andy’s Kitchen in 2018, which was voted Best Burger in Cypress. Correa and his wife, Kristi, own and operate the concepts together, and the Bar & Grill has been described as having a sports-bar atmosphere with karaoke, trivia and live music.

The move keeps that local brand alive while bundling the burger-shop identity with a larger entertainment space. For Cypress diners, it means the same Andy’s name, the same 290 address and a more flexible setup for meals, music and private events, a practical response to the way small businesses along the highway continue to adjust to demand.
