Eat Drink HTX Returns Feb. 15-28; 80+ Restaurants Support Houston Food Bank
Eat Drink HTX returns Feb. 15-28 with more than 80 Houston-area restaurants offering $15 and $25 prix-fixe meals to raise funds for the Houston Food Bank.

More than 80 Houston-area restaurants will participate in Eat Drink HTX, offering $15 and $25 prix-fixed brunch, lunch and dinner menus from Feb. 15-28 to benefit the Houston Food Bank. The two-week event, produced by the Cleverley Stone Foundation, is designed to spotlight casual and fast-casual concepts and expand access to charity dining beyond the larger Houston Restaurant Weeks program.
Participating restaurants across Harris, Galveston and Montgomery counties will donate a portion of proceeds tied to how many Eat Drink HTX meals they sell. The Houston Food Bank explains that “participating restaurants make donations based upon how many Eat Drink HTX meals they sell during the event; diners are not solicited for donations.” Organizers market the drive with the call to “Dine Out & Do Good in February!” and position the lower price points as a way to broaden participation among diners and casual concepts.
The Cleverley Stone Foundation created Eat Drink HTX as a sister event to Houston Restaurant Weeks. Katie Stone, who launched the foundation in honor of her mother’s work with Houston Restaurant Weeks, frames the effort as part of a long-running partnership between restaurants and the Food Bank; organizers note that “together, Houstonians and Houston restaurant owners have raised more than $22 million over the past 21 years to support the Houston Food Bank and the hunger needs of our community.” The Houston Food Bank services an 18-county area in southeast Texas, making these local restaurant contributions part of a regional food-security network.
Restaurants of different sizes and neighborhoods are taking part. Highlights in media previews include Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient da Gama Canteen and owner-operated concepts linked to Opporto/Oporto. Reservation and booking platforms have already begun listing Eat Drink HTX entries; Resy and other reservation services show participating listings from Nancy’s Hustle, Uchi Houston, Brennan’s of Houston, Moon Rabbit HOU, OMG! Burger locations and numerous neighborhood staples such as Los Tios, Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill and Molina’s Cantina branches. Menus and the complete participating-restaurant list went live Feb. 1 on the Eat Drink HTX site, and KPRC directs diners to the Houston Restaurant Weeks site for full menus and listings.
Practical notes for diners: reservations are recommended but not required at many locations, and if booking through OpenTable, “diners are encouraged to note ‘Eat Drink HTX’ in the comments section to ensure the restaurant applies the special menu and donation.” Diners can expect fixed-price menu options at $15 and $25 intended to simplify ordering while maximizing the number of meals that generate donations for the Food Bank.
