Man Fatally Stabbed on Front Porch at Houston Apartment Complex

A 41-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds on the front porch of an apartment complex at 1201 Redford Street about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and C. Davidson are leading the investigation, logged under incident number 028733726. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a stabbing call at the complex and located the man on the porch already suffering from the wounds. Security guards at the location told investigators that the man had been involved in a physical altercation with another male when the stabbing occurred.

The victim's identity has not been released; the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is working to verify it. No suspect description, arrest, or warrant information has been made public as of the HPD's release.
