Brooksville Drug Raid Nets Three Arrests, Firearms and Narcotics Seized
Hernando County deputies executed a search warrant at a Brooksville residence on November 26, 2025, arresting three people and seizing multiple illegal drugs, a stolen firearm, ammunition and paraphernalia. The action, tied to the Kings Fall Operation, removes alleged traffickers from a neighborhood and highlights ongoing local efforts to curb drug distribution and gun violence.

Detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit, assisted by the HCSO SWAT Team, executed a residential search warrant at 20058 Wildwood Drive in Brooksville on November 26, 2025. The operation was a continuation of the recently concluded Kings Fall Operation after investigators determined that Robert Wright Jr., born October 24, 1979, was selling trafficking amounts of illegal narcotics from the residence.
Wright Jr. was taken into custody along with his son, Robert Wright III, born May 3, 2004, and Nikilya Davis, born June 20, 2002. Wright III was found to have an active warrant out of Hillsborough County. Wright Jr. had previously been arrested on July 28, 2025 by Vice and Narcotics detectives for trafficking in fentanyl after officers discovered 56.3 grams of fentanyl during a traffic stop, and he was out on bond at the time of the November 26 operation.
A search of the home yielded fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana, alprazolam, diazepam, various drug paraphernalia and ammunition that was illegal for Wright Jr. to possess because of his status as a convicted felon. Detectives located a Glock handgun inside the bedroom belonging to Wright III, and the firearm was later determined to be stolen out of Citrus County.

All three subjects were arrested and charged. Wright Jr. will be held with no bond due to being out on bond for the earlier trafficking charge. A hold will be placed on Wright III related to his active Hillsborough County warrant, and Davis’s bond will be set in accordance with the standard bond schedule.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office emphasized its continued commitment to aggressively pursuing individuals who engage in trafficking and distribution of illegal narcotics within the community and provided Hernando County Crime Stoppers tip information for residents. The seizure removes drugs and a stolen weapon from a local neighborhood and underscores ongoing law enforcement efforts to protect public safety.
