Animas schools schedule June basketball camps, board meeting

Animas Public Schools has put summer planning in one place for Hidalgo County families: basketball camps for middle-school girls, varsity-age girls and boys, plus a June board meeting that lands in the middle of the month. The district’s June calendar runs from June 1 through June 16 and keeps the focus on student activity, school oversight and the practical details parents need to track.

The schedule includes an MS Girls’ Basketball Camp for grades 6 through 8, a Girls’ Varsity Basketball Camp for grades 6 through 12 and a Boys’ Basketball Summer Program. Those sessions are listed in morning time slots, giving students a structured way to stay connected to campus even while school is out. Animas says families should check the calendar for the latest details because it recognizes the miles and time commitments involved in getting to district events.
