Millersburg Village Sets April 2026 Council Meetings, Tax and Water Deadlines

A $25-per-month late-filing penalty, capped at $150, starts accumulating the day after Millersburg's municipal income tax return is due. That deadline falls April 15, and Fiscal Officer and Income Tax Administrator Bobbie Curry is available at (330) 674-6891 at 6 North Washington Street for residents or employers who need help completing forms before the cutoff.

The village stopped automatically mailing tax forms and now makes them available at the Village Office, on the village website, or by mail upon request. On top of the flat monthly penalty, the village charges a 5 percent-plus-prime monthly interest rate on any remaining unpaid balance after the due date. Millersburg collects income tax at a 1.5 percent rate, applicable to residents 18 and older who earn wages, salaries, commissions, or other earned income.

Two Village Council meetings in April give residents their best opportunity to weigh in before decisions are finalized on local ordinances, zoning variances, vendor permits, and utility and street projects. The first session convenes Monday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Village Hall. The second is set for Monday, April 27, also at 7:00 p.m. in the same location. Council agendas are posted to the village website ahead of each meeting and can be requested from the office at (330) 674-1886, staffed weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Residents who want to address the council or submit written comments should contact Village Hall in advance to review the public comment procedures.

A separate water bill deadline falls April 25. Millersburg Utility Department Superintendent Nathan Skolmutch oversees billing, and accounts not settled by that date are subject to late fees and potential service interruption. The village accepts payment online through its bill-pay system, in person at 6 North Washington Street, or by mail.
