Drug Task Force Bust at Casino Nets 23 Pounds of Meth, Three Arrests
A hidden compartment in a vehicle at Rolling Hills Casino yielded 23 pounds of meth after a four-month investigation into a Trinity and Humboldt County drug ring.

Agents from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force arrested three people at Rolling Hills Casino in Tehama County on March 5, seizing 23 pounds of methamphetamine and an ounce of fentanyl from a hidden compartment built into the suspects' vehicle, the culmination of a four-month investigation into a drug trafficking organization moving product from the Los Angeles area into Northern California.
The HCDTF began the investigation in November 2025, targeting a trafficking network operating out of Humboldt and Trinity counties. On March 5, task force agents, working alongside the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office Problem-Oriented Policing Team and the Tehama County Sheriff's Office, served search warrants and made contact with the three suspects at the casino. In addition to the vehicle search, agents executed warrants on the suspects' residences in Humboldt and Trinity counties.

The three people arrested were James Faycurry, 55, of Hayfork; Robbi Faycurry, 60, also of Hayfork; and Mitchell Oloughlin, 67, of Mad River. Oloughlin is a registered sex offender. All three were transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance under Health and Safety Code 11378, transportation of methamphetamine for sales throughout non-contiguous counties under Health and Safety Code 11379(B), and conspiracy under Penal Code 182(A)(1).
The single ounce of fentanyl recovered from the vehicle compartment represents more than 14,000 lethal doses, according to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. The 23 pounds of methamphetamine found alongside it underscores the scale of what investigators say was a sustained pipeline into the region.
All individuals named in this report should be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
