Eureka Man Arrested on Felony Warrants, Loaded Gun Found at Home

A loaded firearm was discovered inside a residence on the 1800 block of Albee Street in Eureka after the Humboldt County Sheriff's SWAT team moved in Monday to arrest a man wanted on outstanding felony warrants.

Tyler Colegrove was taken into custody March 17 following a multi-agency warrant operation that brought SWAT resources to the residential street. The arrest stemmed from pre-existing felony warrants, and the loaded gun found inside the home added a weapons dimension to what was already a significant law enforcement action.
