Fortuna Softball Crushes Willows Twice, 15-1 and 22-0, in Saturday Sweep
Little went 6-for-9 with 11 RBIs across both games as Fortuna swept Willows 15-1 and 22-0, with both contests ending after five innings.

Junior Little put together one of the more dominant individual performances of the young softball season Saturday, going 6-for-9 with three doubles, a triple, two home runs and 11 RBIs as the Fortuna Huskies swept Willows in a doubleheader at Fortuna High School, winning 15-1 and 22-0 with both games ending after five innings.
In the opener, Mia Tiedeman went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to pace the Huskies offense. Olivia Hayes, Keeley Ryles-Baker and Sophia Castillo each added base hits, while Naiya Castillo contributed a base hit and a double to cap a 15-1 Fortuna victory.

The second game was more of the same. Junior Addie Collenberg took the circle and pitched a complete-game five-inning shutout, allowing only one hit and one walk and striking out four. She got plenty of help from a reliable Fortuna defense that did not commit any errors while turning a pair of double plays, including one to end the game.
At the plate, the Huskies racked up 14 hits, with Little again leading the way and finishing 3-for-5 with two home runs, a triple and six RBIs. Sanchez finished 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs, Thompson added two hits, and Naiya Castillo went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI. Collenberg, in addition to her shutout on the mound, went 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Hayes and Sephora Machado each contributed a base hit.

The outstanding junior now has three home runs on the season. Five games into the new season, Little is hitting .778, going 14-for-18 with 20 RBIs across all contests, numbers that place her among the most productive hitters on the North Coast through the opening weeks of the 2026 campaign.
