Humboldt Association of Realtors Installs 2026 Officers, Presents First Lifetime Achievement Award
Humboldt Association of Realtors installed 2026 officers and honored 2025 award winners, including the association's first lifetime achievement award, a shift that affects local housing advocacy and outreach.

The Humboldt Association of Realtors installed its 2026 board and executive committee and recognized top local agents at its Annual Installation of Officers and Installation and Awards Dinner, signaling continuity in local real estate leadership and community-facing programs. The event, held Jan. 10, 2026, also presented HAR’s 2025 awards, including Realtor®, Affiliate and Rookie of the Year honors and the association’s first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award.
Alissa Woods of Wells Commercial Real Estate and Investments was sworn in as HAR president for 2026. Woods said, "I look forward to continuing the work and promoting the values of the Humboldt Association of Realtors® in 2026. I am grateful to have such a dedicated and engaged Board of Directors and am committed to leading by example," in a HAR press release announcing the installation. Suzy Smith of Suzy Smith Living was named president-elect and Sandi DeLuca of Coldwell Banker Sellers Realty will serve as first vice president. Outgoing president Heather Bergen of Humboldt Coast Properties will remain on the executive committee as past president.
Board officers sworn in include Bob Judevine as treasurer and Andy Parker as MLS director. Logan Caswell of Summit Funding was named 2025 Affiliate of the Year and was sworn in as the board’s affiliate liaison for 2026. Kristen Kelley will continue in her role as HAR CEO and secretary to the board. New and returning directors include Brandon Brown, Dean Wilson, Hannah Winans, Kimberly Keisling, Mark Crosson, Somer Wallan, Tracy Helard-Shumard, Joshua Cook and Victoria Copeland.
The association honored Kimberly Keisling of Corcoran Icon Properties as 2025 REALTOR® of the Year. Corcoran Icon reported that Keisling sold 20 homes in 2025, hosted "Walk and Talk" events with fellow HAR members to educate buyers, produced social media content to guide prospective homeowners and helped keep HAR operations running during a temporary administrative staffing shortfall. Keisling said, "This recognition is such an honor. HAR has been an important part of my journey in real estate, and I’m proud to give back to an Association and community that support each other so well. I love what I do, and I feel fortunate to work alongside so many dedicated REALTORS® who are committed to serving Humboldt County," in Corcoran Icon Properties material. Joshua Cook, Humboldt County sales manager at Corcoran Icon Properties, added, "Kimberly leads by example. She shows up for her clients, her colleagues, and the community every day. Her professionalism, generosity, and dedication set a standard for everyone around her, and this recognition is so well-deserved," in the same brokerage account.
Rookie of the Year honors went to Derek Baca of Madrone Realty. Joyce West of Community Realty was presented HAR’s first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award, a distinction that highlights long-term contributions to Humboldt County real estate and civic life.
For Humboldt County residents, the new leadership matters because HAR sets local priorities for MLS management, member education and community outreach that influence how buyers and sellers interact with the market. With Woods pledging to "lead by example," expect continued emphasis on member engagement and public-facing programs such as buyer education and neighborhood stewardship initiatives that helped earn Keisling recognition. The association’s roster of officers and award winners suggests a blend of experienced hands and new voices shaping local housing advocacy through 2026.
