Redway Arrests Follow Robbery and Kidnapping Investigation, Deputies Say

Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 25 year old Dylan Cody Olivas and 37 year old Jazmyne Roe after executing an arrest warrant and search warrant at a Redway residence on December 17, 2025. Olivas was booked on robbery and kidnapping charges, while both Olivas and Roe were booked on a charge alleging operation of a drug house. Roe also faced a charge for violating a domestic violence court order.

The investigation began on November 22, 2025, when deputies responded at approximately 3:29 p.m. to the 3200 block of Redwood Drive in Redway to investigate a reported robbery and kidnapping. Deputies contacted a 41 year old male victim and identified Olivas as a suspect through follow up investigation. On December 15, deputies obtained a Ramey warrant for Olivas on charges of PC 211 Robbery and PC 207(a) Kidnapping, and secured a search warrant for Olivas’ residence at 77 Mill Rd. in Redway.

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. on December 17 deputies with assistance from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed both warrants at the Mill Road address. Deputies located Olivas inside the residence along with his live in girlfriend, Jazmyne Roe, and several other individuals. During the search deputies located evidence that established probable cause to believe Olivas and Roe were operating a drug house. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for booking.

Olivas was booked on PC 211 Robbery, PC 207(a) Kidnapping, and HS 11366 Operate Maintain a Drug House. Roe was booked on HS 11366 Operate Maintain a Drug House and PC 273.6 Violate Domestic Violence Court Order. The sequence of warrants and the involvement of the SWAT Team reflect the sheriff office assessment of risk and the need to secure evidence and community safety.
