Kauai Committee on the Status of Women Hosts Women's History Month Craft Fair
Thirty women-owned Kauai Made businesses will fill Grove Farm Market in Puhi this Saturday for a free Women's History Month craft fair running 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Thirty women-owned businesses will take over Puhi Park's Grove Farm Market, voted the Best of Kaua'i Farmers Markets every year since 2021, this Saturday for a Women's History Month craft fair organized by the Kaua'i Committee on the Status of Women. The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 28.
Every vendor at the fair is a member of Kaua'i Made, the official program of the County of Kaua'i to identify and promote products made on Kaua'i, by Kaua'i people and authentic to Kaua'i. Shoppers can browse a diverse selection of locally made goods, meet the entrepreneurs behind the brands, and celebrate their contributions to Kauaʻi's economy and community, according to the county's announcement.
Kauaʻi Made was created by the Kaua'i Office of Economic Development in 2005 to showcase the variety of local goods the Garden Isle produces. The county press release credits then-Director Beth Amaro with establishing the program under the Office of Economic Development. In order for a business to register their product through Kauaʻi Made, they must be a resident of and source most or all of their materials from the island.
Parking is available around the entire perimeter of the park, with handicap parking off Kikowaena Street. Grove Farm Market is located at Puhi Park, across from Kaua'i Community College and behind Kaua'i Motor Sports.
The Kaua'i Committee on the Status of Women is also listed as hosting a separate Women's History Month Celebration on Wednesday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m., though details on that event's location and program were not available from the county.
Kauaʻi Made provides a customer channel and business resources to local businesses creating local products, and the Saturday fair gives those businesses direct, face-to-face access to the community that supports them. More information on Kauaʻi Made member businesses is available at kauaimade.net or by following @kauaimadeofficial on Instagram.
