UH Mānoa Releases Full 2026 Football Schedule, Opening at Stanford
The Rainbow Warriors open Aug. 29 at Stanford, then face three brand-new Mountain West members in a row to close the season.

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa unveiled its full 2026 football schedule on March 9, sending the Rainbow Warriors to Palo Alto before a single home game has been played. The 12-game slate, balanced evenly between six home contests and six road trips, was released following the Mountain West Conference's announcement of its conference dates.
UH opens in Week 0 on Aug. 29 at Stanford, then returns home to the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex the following Saturday to host UNLV on Sept. 5 in the Mountain West opener. The Rebels finished as co-regular season champions last season. A home non-conference game against New Mexico State on Sept. 12 precedes a bye week, with Mountain West play resuming Sept. 26 in Laramie at Wyoming.
The schedule then settles into an alternating rhythm for four straight weeks: home against San Jose State on Oct. 3, a road non-conference trip to Tempe to face Arizona State on Oct. 10, home against co-regular season champion New Mexico on Oct. 17, and then away at Northern Illinois on Oct. 24 in DeKalb, Illinois. That Oct. 24 game will be UH's first-ever appearance in DeKalb.
From there, the Warriors play the Mountain West's three new members in succession. After visiting Northern Illinois, UH heads to UTEP on Nov. 7 before hosting North Dakota State at the Ching Complex on Nov. 14 in what will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Bison joined the Mountain West Conference ahead of the 2026 season.
UH closes the regular season with a road game at Nevada in Reno on Nov. 21, followed by a home finale against Sacramento State on Nov. 28. That Sacramento State matchup is itself a scheduling replacement: it fills a date that had been reserved for the first game of a previously arranged home-and-home series with UMass. Sacramento State is entering its first season as a Football Bowl Subdivision program in 2026 as a member of the Mid-American Conference, and the Nov. 28 contest will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs. UH will now seek a replacement opponent for the Aug. 28, 2027 season opener that had been set against UMass.
The date for the Mountain West Championship Game has not yet been decided. The complete schedule is available at Hawaiiathletics.com.
