Assure Painting opens new Coeur d’Alene office, plans July 14 ribbon-cutting

Assure Painting has opened a new office at 115 W. Ironwood Drive in Coeur d’Alene, adding a more customer-facing base as the North Idaho contractor grows its residential and commercial work. The company will mark the move with a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 14 at 11 a.m.

The new space is designed to do more than handle paperwork. Project Specialist Shelia Sprinkle said it includes a dedicated color-consulting area where customers can talk through ideas, expectations and project details, along with private space for the estimator and project manager. That layout is meant to make early planning more organized when homeowners and businesses are deciding on scope, materials, scheduling and budgets.

Assure Painting is owned by Ed Assed and his wife, Emily Wellington, and the company says it has more than 25 years of experience in residential and commercial work across North Idaho and Washington. Assed said he started painting at 13, first working on show cars and race cars in an autobody shop, then moving through commercial construction, logging and residential construction before opening his own paint business in 2001.

Sprinkle’s background also figures prominently in the company’s growth. She spent 11 years with Mallory Paint Store, helped open 16 locations and later worked six years as a Sherwin-Williams sales representative. Assed credited that experience with helping the company improve client service and move toward a more polished operation.

The company already has a local project list that includes the new Hyatt Place Hotel in Post Falls. A staff photo identified Marek Wallace, Josh Wallace, Corrin Wallace, Ed Assed, Emily Wellington, Shelia Sprinkle and Brandon Sprinkle as part of the team, and a photo caption noted that Assure Painting painted the Centennial Bridge in 2016.

The Hayden Chamber of Commerce says Assure Painting has been based in Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene since 2012. Business records list Assure Painting, LLC at 2153 E. Thomas Hill Dr. in Coeur d’Alene and show Edward Assed and Emily Wellington as officers; the company was incorporated in Idaho on May 14, 2019. The Ironwood Drive office extends that footprint with a more visible place to meet clients and support future work in Kootenai County.
