Coeur d'Alene Saint Patrick's Parade Returns March 14 With Emerald City Theme
Sherman Ave. goes green Saturday as Coeur d'Alene's 21st annual St. Patrick's Parade marches under an "Emerald City" theme, free to watch at 3 p.m.

Marching bands, dancers and festive floats will fill Sherman Avenue this Saturday when downtown Coeur d'Alene hosts the 21st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, set for March 14 at 3 p.m. under the 2026 theme "Emerald City."
The parade steps off at 8th and Sherman at 3:00 p.m. and travels west along Sherman Avenue to the intersection at 1st and Sherman, wrapping up by 4:00 p.m. Watching is free.
The Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association is presenting the event in partnership with ICCU. The parade brings together marching bands, dancing groups, local clubs and colorful floats for what organizers describe as a long-running community celebration that delivers the "Luck of the Irish to Downtown CDA."
Anyone planning to attend Saturday afternoon should note that the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra is also scheduled for 3:00 p.m. that same day at the Schuler Performing Arts Center on the North Idaho College campus, giving music fans two simultaneous options across the city.

March activity downtown extends well beyond the parade itself. Hot Winter Nights runs through the end of the month at The Coeur d'Alene Resort, and the Post Falls Leprechaun Run and Pub Crawl WEEK are among the St. Patrick's season events listed on the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association's calendar. The Sons of Norway Traditional Norwegian Waffle Breakfast and Scenic Hot Cocoa Cruises are also on the area's upcoming schedule.
