Cool Nail Spa and Wax Opens in Post Falls on Seltice Road

Bill and Jackie Nguyen launched Cool Nail Spa & Wax at 1602 E. Seltice Road in Post Falls, adding a new nail and waxing option to the city's east side. The Coeur d'Alene Press flagged the grand opening in its Movers & Shakers column on March 7, 2026.

The Seltice Road location puts Cool Nail Spa & Wax in a heavily traveled Post Falls corridor, where Seltice serves as one of the main commercial arteries connecting residents to services along the Idaho-Washington border.

The new salon is one of several nail and beauty businesses to open recently across Kootenai County. My Nails & Spa Salon, owned by Kenny and Vivian Nguyen, is now open in Suite B of Mullan Square at 3134 Mullan Road in Post Falls. The owners bring 30 years of experience in the field and offer services covering fingernails and toenails. My Nails & Spa Salon is open 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with Sunday appointments available by request. The salon can be reached at 208-809-9595.

Across the county line in Coeur d'Alene, The Boulevard Salon held its grand opening at 610 W. Hubbard Ave., Suite 112, drawing on a six-person team that includes Howard Skidmore, Alicia Skidmore, Alyssa Zehnder, Britni Sternberg, Erika Pemp and Kaeli Garland. Services at The Boulevard range from full-body waxing and acrylics to smoothing treatments and all-age haircuts. The salon operates 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and can be reached at 208-930-1950.

In Hayden, Dr. Henry Kornegay opened First Steps Chiropractic in Suite E at 8836 N. Hess St., with a ribbon cutting and open house that ran 4 to 6 p.m. and included food, drinks and raffle prizes.
