Keys for Kids Dueling Pianos Fundraiser Returns to Benefit Kootenai County Youth
Frank Turner and Noel Leaman of Dueling Pianos International return to Coeur d'Alene April 23. Each $100 ticket funds Boys & Girls Clubs summer scholarships.

The Hagadone Event Center in Coeur d'Alene will host Frank Turner and Noel Leaman of Dueling Pianos International on April 23 for the third annual Keys for Kids fundraiser, with proceeds funding summer scholarships, meals and field trips at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kootenai County.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at 984 S. Floating Green Drive, with the show beginning around 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $100 and are available at northidahobgc.org, which also lists sponsorship opportunities.
Turner and Leaman built their reputation on a format that puts the crowd in charge: song requests come from the floor, the two pianists trade off and build on each other, and a catalog ranging from classic rock and country to R&B and contemporary pop gives any room something familiar. That participatory energy also drives the live auction and raffle activity woven into the evening, pushing fundraising totals beyond what ticket sales alone generate.

The timing is intentional. Summer program registration at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kootenai County opens the Monday after the event, meaning scholarship and operational dollars raised on April 23 will directly shape how many children can access the Clubs' summer programming this year. Those programs provide structured daily activities, meals and supervision during the months when many working families across the county have the fewest options for their kids.
Now in its third consecutive year at the Hagadone Event Center, Keys for Kids has become one of the organization's signature fundraising nights, connecting a dinner-and-entertainment evening to concrete outcomes for county youth before the summer enrollment window opens.
