Parker’s offense delivered its loudest statement of the spring at Victory Lane Complex in Surprise, where the Broncs poured in a season-high 21 runs and beat Highland Prep 21-5. The one-sided win gave Parker its second straight victory and showed why the Broncs remained a dangerous late-season team for anyone trying to track the 3A West picture.

The numbers told the story quickly. Parker collected 24 hits, turned the game into a blowout early and kept adding to it throughout the afternoon. Swena Hopkins powered the surge with a perfect 4-for-4 day that included a home run, five RBI and three runs scored. Cali Booth matched the kind of production that can bury an opponent, finishing 4-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and two runs.

Peyton Anderson added another layer to the win by controlling the game in the circle and contributing at the plate. Anderson struck out eight batters in five innings while allowing five runs on five hits, then went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. That combination of pitching stability and lineup depth helped Parker keep Highland Prep from ever settling into the game.

For Parker High School and the La Paz County community it represents, the result was more than a big score. It was the latest example of a lineup that could still overwhelm an opponent when its top hitters were in rhythm. MaxPreps listed the Highland Prep rout as Parker’s 11th win by 10 runs or more this season, a reminder that the Broncs had not just won, they had repeatedly separated from opponents by a wide margin.

Parker entered the game with a 13-11 overall record and a 5-6 mark in 3A West play under head coach Kennedy Kehr, and the Broncs had already beaten Odyssey Institute 12-2 two days earlier on April 25. That back-to-back offensive burst gave Parker a late-season finish built on run production and sharp pitching, while Highland Prep dropped to 3-15 and extended its losing streak to five. The Honey Badgers had also fallen to Parker a year earlier, leaving this matchup with a recent pattern that again tilted toward the Broncs.
