Four-Star WR Elias Pearl Sets Ole Miss Official Visit June 12
Ole Miss has locked in a June 12 official visit with four-star Port Charlotte receiver Elias Pearl, a trip to Oxford in Lafayette County that could help decide his commitment before summer ends.

Ole Miss coaches have secured an official visit with Port Charlotte (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Elias Pearl for June 12, a trip to Oxford in Lafayette County that staffers hope will move the Rebels ahead in a recruitment Pearl says is narrowing. Pete Golding and his staff have been “pushing” for Pearl, and HottyToddy reported the Rebels will get him on campus on June 12 while Sports Illustrated noted Pearl will be in Oxford during the weekend of June 12-14.
Pearl, listed at 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds in some reports, has built momentum after a breakout performance at Rivals Camp Miami. Rivals wrote that “Elias Pearl turned in a breakout showing at Rivals Camp Miami. He was the top wide receiver on the day, in what was the deepest position group at the event. Pearl was fantastic in every facet throughout Sunday’s workout. He was a crisp route-runner in drills and consistently showed strong, reliable hands at the catch point.” That evaluation appears across HottyToddy and other reprints and was reposted with a credit line reading “, Billy Tucker (@TheUCReport) February 16, 2026.”
Recruiting visitors and offers have piled up for the Port Charlotte High product. Pearl tweeted on Jan. 28, 2026, “After a great conversation with @DrWashington_ I’m blessed to say I have received my 12th division one offer from the University of @OleMissFB #AGTG @DemetricDWarren @Andy_Villamarzo @RealNews102 @BigCountyPreps1 @PMOWriter @Andrew_Ivins @shockperform_ @ChadSimmons_ @adamgorney pic.twitter.com/MS9ufRuZE6,” indicating Ole Miss was his 12th Division I offer as of that date. HottyToddy and Google Discover listings also name Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, Syracuse, and Pitt among programs that have offered Pearl.
Pearl has already scheduled other summer visits as part of his recruitment. He told Rivals, “I will be at Virginia Tech on May 29, Georgia on June 5,” and added, “Georgia, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech have been keeping the most contact, so those are high on my list.” He has also already visited Clemson and Florida, according to HottyToddy’s reporting of his campus trip history.
On how he will decide, Pearl told Rivals, “I expect I’ll commit by the end of summer,” and spelled out his priorities: “A school that will develop me on and off the field, helping me reach the next level and preparing me for my future, will be big in my decision.” HottyToddy framed the June visit as pivotal, writing that “a strong official visit in June would put Ole Miss in a good spot to land the talented Floridian.”
For Lafayette County and the Oxford recruiting room, landing a Top-50 rated wideout in the 2027 cycle would extend Ole Miss’ recent success recruiting Florida under Pete Golding. With Pearl’s Rivals camp tape, including plays where he “shook a defensive back out of his shoes with a nasty out-and-up for an easy touchdown” and later “scored on a vertical route”, and a June 12 official visit on the calendar, the coming weeks will clarify whether Oxford can turn contact and offers into a commitment before Pearl’s expected end-of-summer decision.
