Tre Harris Returning to Oxford for Fan Meet-and-Greet at Walmart
Tre Harris, the former Ole Miss receiver now with the LA Chargers, met fans today at the Oxford Walmart Supercenter from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Tre Harris made his return to Oxford on Monday, stepping back into the community that watched him become one of the Rebels' most dangerous pass-catchers, this time as a second-round NFL draft pick greeting fans at the Walmart Supercenter from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
The public meet-and-greet gave Oxford residents a chance to meet Harris and take photos with the former Rebel. Harris spent just two seasons in Oxford, but they were enough to establish him as a legitimate NFL prospect. After beginning his college career at Louisiana Tech from 2020 to 2022, he transferred to Ole Miss for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, quickly emerging as a top receiving threat for the Rebels.
That production translated directly to draft day. The Los Angeles Chargers selected Harris in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft with the 55th overall pick, making him one of the higher-drafted pass-catchers to come through the Ole Miss program in recent years.

Monday's appearance at the Oxford Walmart Supercenter marked Harris's first known public return to Lafayette County since turning pro. The event was open to the public, with no ticketing or admission requirements noted in advance announcements. The 90-minute window offered fans a direct line to a player who suited up for the Grove, the Vaught, and SEC competition before taking his route-running to the AFC West.
