Lane County Sheriff’s deputies tased and detained Aiyana Elizabeth Roy, 25, of Creswell, after she allegedly broke into a home on the 200 block of Creswood Drive and assaulted an elderly occupant, authorities said. Medics treated multiple victims at the scene and Roy was taken to a hospital before being lodged at the Lane County Jail.

The call came at about 7:00 a.m. on February 26, 2026, when deputies, including a deputy assigned to the Creswell patrol contract, responded to reports of a disorderly person outside a residence on Creswood Drive. Deputies quickly found the scene involved more than a disturbance and moved to secure the area.

Deputies reported finding Roy naked and causing a disturbance outside a residence; she was also reported injured when officers arrived. Investigators allege Roy then broke into a nearby home and assaulted an elderly resident, inflicting what local authorities described as significant injury. The extent and specifics of the elderly victim’s injuries have not been publicly detailed.

Responding deputies also contacted a man in a neighboring home who had been injured before officers arrived. Medics treated that male occupant and the elderly resident on scene. Following the Taser deployment used to detain Roy, medics transported Roy to an area hospital for medical care; she was later booked and lodged at the Lane County Jail.

After additional investigation, Roy was booked on multiple charges, including first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree criminal trespass. Local law enforcement summarized the case as involving burglary, assault, and unlawful use of a weapon in public statements about the incident.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office has identified the matter with a case reference of LCSO Case 26-0981 for the February 26 incident on Creswood Drive. Investigators continue to develop the case; officials have not released detailed medical information about the elderly victim, the identity or age of the man in the neighboring home, or specifics about the alleged weapon referenced in the unlawful use of a weapon charge.

Aiyana Elizabeth Roy remains lodged at the Lane County Jail as the Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the early-morning break-in and assaults on Creswood Drive. Authorities have indicated the investigation is ongoing and additional records such as incident reports and booking information are expected to clarify timing, injury details, and next steps in the criminal process.
