Eugene Spa Owners Arrested on Suspicion of Promoting Prostitution
Husband and wife Christopher Taylor Long, 62, and Fang Zhou, 55, were booked into Lane County Jail on March 19 after police searched their West 11th Ave spa.

Christopher Taylor Long and his wife Fang Zhou ran a massage spa at 2412 West 11th Avenue. On March 19, Eugene police arrived with a search warrant and left with two suspects in custody.
Awe Spa & Massage on West 11th Avenue had been under investigation by Eugene police since last month, and officers served a search warrant on March 19 before arresting the owners. Long, 62, and Zhou, 55, were booked into the Lane County Jail that same day on suspicion of promoting prostitution, and have since been released, according to KEZI.
Eugene police spokesperson Melinda McLaughlin said a detective opened the investigation on Feb. 26. Authorities observed multiple women living and working at the spa, allegedly providing clients with sexual services. "It was determined clients of the spa were getting sexual services," McLaughlin said in an email.
Police did not limit the search to the business itself. In addition to the spa, officers also executed a search warrant at the couple's residence.

The spa is located at 2412 West 11th Avenue in Eugene. Oregon Secretary of State registration records show the business was incorporated in 2023, with the registration signed electronically by Fang Zhou.
Long and Zhou have not made any public statements, and no defense attorney has been identified in connection with the case. Formal charging documents, court dates, and bail conditions had not been publicly released as of this week. The Lane County District Attorney's office has not confirmed whether charges beyond the arrest allegation have been filed.
