Lane County Home and Garden Show Returns for 46th Year at Lane Events Center
Bring 3 cans of food and get in free: the 46th Lane County Home & Garden Show is underway at the Lane Events Center through Sunday.

The 46th Lane County Home & Garden Show opened Friday at the Lane Events Center on West 13th Avenue in Eugene, with two more days remaining for residents to browse what organizers describe as over two acres of home and garden exhibits. The show, presented by NW Natural and organized by Berg Productions, runs through Sunday, March 15.
Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday the show closes at 5 p.m. Admission is free for anyone who brings three cans of food to benefit FOOD For Lane County; otherwise, tickets are $5 at the door. Parking is free.
Gardening personality Ciscoe Morris, billed as the Pacific Northwest's Favorite Gardener, is a central draw. On Saturday he presents a session titled "The Good, The Bad, and Why in the Living Tweetle Did I Plant That?" and on Sunday hosts "Stump the Chump Garden GAMESHOW! Win Plants & Prizes!" with book signings following both appearances.
Two other featured presenters appear all three days of the show. Erika Kotite, author and She Shed expert, leads sessions on styling and creating personal retreat spaces, each followed by book signings. Joe Karsten, author and straw bale garden method pioneer, presents "Straw Bale Gardening 101" with book signings as well.

The show floor spans the Lane Events Center's Convention Center and Expo Halls at 796 W. 13th Ave. Promotional materials from the official show website list hundreds of exhibits and 49 happenings and seminars, while a separate event directory puts the seminar count at 40 and the exhibit total at over 300; Berg Productions has not publicly clarified the discrepancy. Spring plant sales are also available on the floor, along with three entertainment stages.
Attendees can register to win $4,500 in prizes sponsored by KEZI-9. For more information, call 541-484-9247 or visit EugeneHomeShow.com.
