Three Arrested Near Veneta After Deputies Catch Burglary in Progress
Deputies caught three people loading stolen goods onto a trailer on Central Road near Veneta, arresting Max Trezona, Justin Arbogast, and Amanda Thomas on burglary charges.

A single damaged gate gave them away.
When a Lane County Sheriff's deputy spotted a pickup truck and trailer parked on private property in the 88-thousand block of Central Road last Friday afternoon, the combination of a broken gate and an unfamiliar vehicle was enough to prompt a closer look. What deputies found when backup arrived was a burglary already underway.
Multiple deputies, along with K9 Ripp, responded to search the large rural property west of Eugene near Veneta, which includes several commercial buildings. Around 2:30 p.m. on March 20, according to the Lane County Sheriff's Office, deputies detained three people who were allegedly moving items from inside one of those buildings onto the trailer.
All three were arrested and booked into the Lane County Jail following the investigation.

Max James Trezona, 36, of Coburg, and Justin Wayne Arbogast, 42, also of Coburg, each face charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree trespass, and third-degree theft. Amanda Threasa Thomas, 36, of Eugene, faces those same three charges plus two additional counts: possession of burglary tools and unlawful possession of fentanyl, the latter charged as a misdemeanor.
The Lane County Sheriff's Office has not released details on the type or value of items that were being loaded onto the trailer, and no information on the property owner or the businesses operating out of the commercial buildings has been made public. Court dates and bail amounts for all three suspects were not immediately available.
