County Approves New Lease for Los Alamos Golf Course Restaurant, Opening June 1
After months of interim-only service, the Los Alamos Golf Course gets a full-service restaurant operator June 1, with ties to Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op.

19th Hole Sports Pub LLC, a new concessionaire with reported connections to Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op affiliates and local partners, will take over the Los Alamos Golf Course restaurant and concession this summer after the County Council approved an ordinance authorizing the lease agreement. Full-service operations are targeted for June 1, 2026, contingent on food service and health permits, insurance finalization, and the completion of remaining contract formalities.
The ordinance was executed at the end of March and posted publicly in early April to satisfy statutory notice requirements. The County Clerk's office placed a formal adoption notice in local legal notices describing the ordinance number and providing instructions for residents to inspect the full lease documents.
For golfers and residents who have depended on the course's interim concession arrangements, the practical changes arrive this summer: 19th Hole Sports Pub LLC is expected to operate with expanded hours and a broader menu than what interim setups have provided. The community room, long used for weddings, league nights, and nonprofit gatherings, is also covered under the lease, with the agreement structured to create reliable access for civic events that the course's previous interim arrangement could not consistently guarantee.
The financial case for securing a long-term operator runs directly to county taxpayers. Concession fees and community room rental revenue flowing back to the County provide a recurring stream that offsets golf course maintenance costs, reducing budget pressure that would otherwise surface elsewhere in the recreation fund. Without a stable, full-service concessionaire in place, that revenue gap has historically required absorption from other county accounts.
The transition also closes a chapter of operational uncertainty that constrained the course's role as a community anchor for Los Alamos and White Rock residents. Interim arrangements had left hours and menu depth limited, and community room bookings without a dedicated operator lacked the predictability that event planners and nonprofits need. County staff will oversee licensing, insurance, and safety compliance during the ramp-up, with the June 1 target calibrated to have 19th Hole Sports Pub LLC fully operational before the peak summer recreation season gets underway.
